HS 440W - Introduction to Health Promotion


3 credit(s) Writing Intensive and High Impact Practice: Collaborative Learning
This course presents the fundamentals of Health Promotion Programming. Students learn about the Health Promotion program process, including needs assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation. The course explains Health Promotion Programming in the context of our changing health care system. Examples of successful Health Promotion Programs are described throughout the course.
Prerequisite(s): Either HS 140P  and HS 141P , or HS 111P .
