RAD 101 - Introduction to Radiologic Science I

This course is designed to provide an overview and orientation to the radiologic sciences and the radiologic technology profession. The course encompasses lectures and discussion both in the traditional classroom setting and online platform. Online reading and research assignments related to radiologic technology as a profession, introduction to imaging modalities, patient care and customer service including professional ethics and HIPAA are provided.
Prerequisite(s): Radiologic technology major.
