3 credit(s) Writing Intensive and High Impact Practice: Capstone
Students learn about all aspects of covering live sports events for television with hands-on training and receive professional experience in these projects working on production teams that will produce programming to be aired on the Watch ESPN/E3 Networks. These productions created in cooperation with University Athletics using a state-of-the-art mobile production studio will be presented on the Watch ESPN/E3 service that reaches 99 million U.S. homes. Topics include broadcast cameras and lenses, video operations and engineering, graphics and data integration, replay systems, audio, directing, producing and on-camera performance. Prerequisite
Prerequisite(s): CMM 214, CMM 244, junior or senior standing or permission of instructor.
