EX 320P - Functional Anatomy


3 credit(s) High Impact Practice: Collaborative Learning
This course will introduce musculoskeletal human anatomy of the spine and extremities including relevant neurovascular anatomy. Foundational kinesiology will be introduced to allow students to apply learned anatomy to human movement. Students will develop critical thinking skill related to movement analysis. Students will be engaged in the high-impact practice of collaborative learning during this course. Students will collaboratively engage in functional assessment of human movement by applying learned principles of anatomy and kinesiology. This course will serve as a primer for students continuing their education in the health and fitness professions.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 212 , BIO 213 , PHY 101 , and exercise science major; or permission of instructor.
