HTT 479P - Production Internship


6 credit(s) High Impact Practice: Internship and Collaborative Learning
Designed to integrate the knowledge and skills gathered from all courses and production work through application in the professional world. A one-semester internship with a professional performing arts organization. Student’s work is monitored and evaluated by faculty adviser. Supervised field work in a performing arts organization in the private or public sector as a stage management intern. At the end of this 6-credit internship, students will complete an extensive academic paper analyzing the rehearsal and performance process of the show on which they are currently assigned. Students are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week at the company.
Prerequisite(s): HTT 448 .
