PROT 510 - Theory & Foundations of Occupational Therapy

Emphasis is on understanding various theories and models and their influence on critical thinking required for the therapeutic process. Occupation and its influence and use throughout the theories and models will also be discussed. Theories and models are highlighted on the present scope of practice, issues, and concepts. Students will be able to identify, compare and contrast, and begin to apply theories and models to occupation-centered practice.
Prerequisite(s): PROT 504.
