MSE 385 - Montessori Language and Creative Expression

Montessori educators in this course focus on all aspects of language and a range of creative expression. Human acquisition of language, including spoken language, as well as the writing and reading of language prepares the adult to support language literacy in children from 6 to 12 years of age. Direct instruction and hands-on creative expression opportunities provide the techniques and didactic materials to support potentialities in art, music, movement, and expressive language. Supervised practice hours and fieldwork hours are required for this course.
Prerequisite(s): MSF 280  and MSF 281 .
