MSE 387 - Montessori World History, Geography, and Life on Earth

Montessori educators in this course focus on the interdisciplinary contributions of world history, geography and life on earth to our understanding of the world around us. History and social studies content includes natural adaptations to geological time and locations, culture and society. Physical geography, with the interdependencies of the Earth’s elements and life upon it, complements the political and economic geographies presented through global, cultural perspectives. Life on earth addresses the branches of biology i.e. botany, zoology, ecology and the interdependencies of living things, including the earth. Supervised practice hours and fieldwork hours are required for this course.
Prerequisite(s): MSF 280  and MSF 281 .
