CS 380 - Intrusion Detection and Security

This course covers techniques and algorithms for detecting unusual activities, in the network or in the devices, that typically signal a break-in or breach, including techniques for detecting evasive or stealthy attacks. In addition, this course teaches in-depth analysis and detection of both local (i.e., insider) and network intruders. This course also covers advanced topics on computer viruses, computer security management, and computer forensics.
Prerequisite(s): CS 280 .
