SYB 210 - Fundamentals of Human Services

The course provides an overview of various disciplines and professions within the Human Services field. Additionally, students will learn skills and techniques that will allow them to become effective human service professionals. Students are offered the opportunity to review cases, research local service agencies and interview key social service workers in the community. A literature review on a specific service population is a key element of this course.
