SM 420 - E-Sports and Gaming

This course applies foundational principles and theories related to planning and operating sporting events and sport facilities. Topics include: event planning and design, services management, booking and scheduling events, media support, maintenance, funding, operations, safety and security aspects, and the management of small and large scale facilities and event venues. Students become familiar with career paths in sports event and facility management.
Prerequisite(s): 48 earned credits and SM 340.
