MGT 501 - Career Coaching & Development for International Students

This course is specifically designed for international students to help them understand the international career development process; specifically, within the U.S. We will look into institutional frameworks and regulations of career development. On the practical side, students will develop their resumes, register in Handshake, practice mock interviews and enjoy guest speakers of companies open to internships and jobs for international students. Students will explore differences in career paths for local, international and global opportunities. The course will include group and individual coaching of students. This does not count in the program of study for graduate students. It is a Pass/No pass course for graduate students.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing or permission of instructor.
