PSY 529 - Social Psychology of Organizations

This course provides an overview of specific topics within the social psychology of organizations, such as errors in decision-making, bias, noise, choice architecture, and incentives. Students will analyze the topics as presented by academic articles, current multimedia, and applied resources. The course will focus on how to use these analyses to create practical applications and interventions for organizational settings regarding scenarios, such as performance evaluations, hiring decisions, and strategy implementation.
Prerequisite(s): Matriculation in a psychology graduate program or permission of instructor.
