NUR 641 - Advanced Pathophysiology, Pharmacology and Physical Assessment

This course focuses on advanced integration and application of clinical content in pathophysiology, pharmacology and physical assessment. Students will learn an integrated approach for assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic interventions in patient disease processes and conditions. A case study format is used in this course to emphasize the student’s advanced skill in converting “silo” nursing knowledge in pathophysiology, pharmacology and physical assessment into the advanced holistic assessment and care of patients across the lifespan.
Prerequisite(s): Matriculation into MSN program.
