NUR 701 - Population Health for Advanced Practice Nursing

This course provides students with an overview of epidemiology related history, theories, concepts, models and frameworks for advanced nursing practice. Students will learn how to critically analyze population-level data for improving population health outcomes. The course will explore social epidemiology, social determinants of health, and concepts of health policy and advocacy.
Prerequisite(s): Matriculation in the DNP Program.
