CS 582 - Penetration Testing and Vulnerability

This course introduces students to penetration testing and vulnerability analysis. It will cover in-depth methodologies, techniques, and tools to identify vulnerabilities, exploits, and assess security risks to networks, operating systems, and applications. The course will enable students to know, think, and work, like an ethical penetration tester. The course will also help in the exploration of different career options, paths, and possibilities in cybersecurity.
Prerequisite(s): CS 555  or equivalent.
