UISA 120D - Literature and Films Across Cultures


3 credit(s) High Impact Practice: Diversity
This integrative course combines perspectives in the humanities and social sciences to broaden student awareness of viewpoints, identities, and/or modes of living in diverse cultures. Works will include international pieces, as well as those focusing on communities within the United States. By studying literature and films produced by a range of scholars and artists, students gain insights into the rich and complex beliefs, practices, lifestyles, and aspirations of these communities. (Formerly AUCC 120)
