UISC 212D - Contemporary American Studies


3 credit(s) High Impact Practice: Diversity
This integrative course in the humanities explores contemporary American society through a variety of lenses including race, gender, politics, and/or religion. The course will focus on a range of eras in America after 1945. Themes addressed in this course could include freedom, power, opportunity, and inequality in the context of Americanism, globalism, religion, and technology. (Formerly AUCW 212)
Prerequisite(s): No prerequisites, open to first-year students.
