QNB 130 - Quantitative Applications for Business

This course introduces students who plan to major in business to a variety of mathematical, data analytics, and statistical techniques that can be applied to problem solving and decision making in the business world. Topics include types of Data and Data analysis, probability concepts, random variables, discrete and continuous probability distributions. Sampling methods, Sampling distributions and introduction to estimation are also covered. Excel and other statistical software are used for problem solving throughout the course.
Prerequisite(s): C- or higher in MAB 111 .
