CS 569 - Machine Learning

This course provides a broad introduction to machine learning. Topics include supervised learning, unsupervised learning, regression, classification, and clustering. Different machine learning algorithms (decision tree, naïve Bayes, support vector machine, k-means, and neural networks) are explored. Neural networks, along with its best practices, are discussed in depth. Students will be exposed to hands-on projects.
Prerequisite(s): Matriculation in the MS in CS program; or senior standing and permission of the instructor.
