QNT 725 - SQL for Business Data Analytics

Structured Query Language (SQL) is one of the most in-demand skills for data analytics. This course aims to help students develop fluency in SQL in preparation for the analysis of complex real-world business data. Starting with an introduction of fundamental concepts in database design, implementation and management of databases, this course covers all common SQL functions such as data definition, manipulation and query processing. Additional topics include advanced SQL skills used in data analytics such as mining of frequent item-sets and similar items as well as clustering of large-scale data, all with heavy emphasis on hands-on applications.
Prerequisite(s): QNT 601 .
