AUD 122 - Audio Recording Principles for Engineering Technology


4 credit(s)
This course introduces first-year students to concepts and technology commonly used in broadcast, sound reinforcement and recording audio systems. Fundamentals of audio engineering technology are presented, along with projects that are based in the CETA audio labs. Sound & hearing, microphone characteristics, mixing console operation, signal flow in both analog and digital audio systems are investigated. Studio format.
