ENG 465W - The Capstone Project

3 credit(s) Writing Intensive and High Impact Practice: Capstone
This course, intended for English majors in their final year of course work, requires students to complete a substantial independent-study project (such as a longer research paper or creative writing project) as the culmination of study. Projects must be approved by the department and supervised by a faculty advisor. Students also compose an essay reflecting on their development in the major. In addition to regular meetings with individual faculty advisors, students meet in a weekly workshop to discuss their work in progress and receive feedback.
Prerequisite(s): Permission of instructor.
