ECT 473 - Advanced Routing & Switching for Engineering Technology

Theory and understanding of essential networking fundamentals in routing and switching. The course covers how to implement static/dynamic routing, virtual local areas networks, access control list filtering, static/dynamic IP addressing, network/port address translation. Other topics include how to use monitoring/management tools and troubleshoot data networks. Three lecture hours, three lab hours.
Prerequisite(s): ECT 472 .
