ME 343 - Aerodynamics I

This course develops knowledge of inviscid aerodynamics necessary for success in aerospace engineering. Topics include: subsonic and transonic airfoil theory; inviscid, incompressible flow; potential flow; method of images; thin airfoil theory; symmetric/cambered airfoils; flapped airfoils; vortex panel method; incompressible flow over finite wings, Prandtl’s lifting line theory.
