SM 370 - Sports Marketing Analytics

This course examines the business of sports and will focus on attracting participants, fans and sponsors. The course will discuss the marketing of sports at professional, collegiate, amateur and special event levels, focusing on the role marketing plays in planning and decision making in attracting and satisfying different customer groups. Students will study current opportunities and threats facing sports and trends that may impact the future of sports and its various audiences.
Prerequisite(s): 24 earned credits.
