PSB 255 - Addictive Behaviors for Human Services

This course serves to instruct students with an understanding of how addictions affect behaviors, motivations and the human experience. Students will also learn about drug policies, their evolution and current status, and alternative perspectives from throughout the world. Students will gain knowledge about the latest data and research on different types of drugs, the illegal drug business, and global drug policy that affects the human services field. Students will also practice and master techniques and key concepts while engaging them with career-based decision-making scenarios, visual summaries and more.
Prerequisite(s): PSB 105  or PSY 105 .
