APC 409 - World Percussion Lab

Provides an introduction to drumming traditions from Africa, Cuba, Brazil, the Middle East, and Trinidad. Students must be matriculated at The Hartt School but need not have prior experience playing percussion instruments. In this “hands-on” course, students will play a variety of percussion instruments, primarily in traditional, authentic folkloric contexts. Open to all Hartt students.
