HTA 351 - Directing

This course introduces students to the foundations of stage directing. In this course, students will explore directing techniques for specific situations such as pre-rehearsal preparation and first performance. Students will engage with directing through assignments, exercises, and the direction of selected scenes in teams while also evaluating each other’s performance as team members.
Prerequisite(s): Third-year and fourth-year actor training and musical theatre majors.
