HLM 559 - Spanish & Latin American Vocal Literature

This course conducts a chronological survey of representative vocal repertoire by Spanish and Latin American composers. Through discussion and research surrounding historical events, students will contextualize surveyed repertoire through the lens of important societal and cultural influences at the time of composition.
