AC 325 - Accounting Information Systems

This course introduces fundamental concepts related to operating, utilizing and protecting accounting information systems. The course topics include relational database management and enterprise systems, accounting applications of data analytics through visualization of accounting system information, control procedures in regard to internal controls and cybersecurity, and ethical considerations involved in accounting control systems.
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in AC 210 and AC 211; or AC 603.
