DFA 131 - Ballet Pedagogy II

The study of a syllabus for teaching Ballet at the Low-Intermediate level. Structuring the ballet lesson. Study of correct technical execution of classical ballet vocabulary at the low-intermediate level. Continued development of exercises and topics begun in Level I. Introduction to additional ballet vocabulary and its progression from previous material. Beginning of separate work for traditional male technique and pointe work.
Prerequisite(s): DFA 130 ; dance performance or ballet pedagogy majors only.
