HTD 110 - Ballet I

This course explores basic ballet movement, technique, vocabulary, musicality, and style. Students will study movement work at the barre, in the center, and across the floor, in adagio and allegro tempi. Movement work will be based on ballet technique, body conditioning, and stretching while emphasizing placement and posture. A studio format is used.
Prerequisite(s): Music theatre or actor training BFA’s only.
