MGT 310 - Management and Organizational Behavior

To manage in the global marketplace and develop essential skills for successful project management, students learn about responding to changing environmental events by establishing management systems that are effective, efficient, and adaptive. They will develop skills in strategic goal setting, team organization, leadership, and performance enhancement. This course compares and contrasts projectized and matrixed methods of organizing, as well as delves into how organizational cultural elements influence the implementation of strategy and projects. Additionally, the course delves into the dynamics of team behavior and the implications of managerial decisions within project settings.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of 40 credits.
