TH 112 - Chromatic Harmony

The second course in tonal harmony, covering the principles of chromatic harmony. Topics include chromatic voice leading, chord progression, melody harmonization, and figured bass. Study of examples from the classic and popular music literatures. Three hours weekly.
Prerequisite(s): TH 111 .
