HTA 150 - Musicianship for Music Theatre I

Explores various aspects of musicianship required for actors in the field of musical theatre at an elementary level. Focuses on music theory, ear training, sight-singing, dictation, and song analysis. In this course, students will develop musicianship competencies related to musical theatre, including working with accompanists, finding, selecting, and performing audition material, and developing skills for sight-singing for auditions.
Prerequisite(s): Music theatre or actor training majors only.
