Sports Economics & Finance applies core economic and financial theories to sports to gain a better understanding behind the behavior and decision making of participants in the sports industry. Some topics include: Industrial Organization in Sports, Labor Markets in Sports, Public Financing, Sports Facility Financing, and the Budgeting Process and Revenues/Expenses behind Sports Operations.
Prerequisite(s): EC 110  and EC 211  for Barney students, or EC 101  for non-Barney students.
