ENB 242W - Introduction to American Literature


3 credit(s) Writing Intensive
This course explores the diverse literary traditions of the United States, covering novels, poetry, essays, and more from various periods and regions. Students will analyze themes, styles, and cultural contexts, gaining insights into literary production, history, and the varied tapestry of American identity. The course may pay special attention to artistic and literary movements, such as Modernism or the Harlem Renaissance, highlighting the ways that literature shapes the world, and vice versa.
