HAS 400P - Exhibition Practices


1.5 credit(s) High Impact Practice: Collaborative Learning
This course provides Fine Art students with hands-on knowledge of what is involved in exhibiting their artwork, while they are actively preparing for their Fourth-Year thesis exhibition. Students will learn how to work with a curator, how to prepare their work to be exhibited and what is involved in installing and de-installing their artwork. In addition, students will learn about the range of potential exhibition opportunities, from creating their own exhibition spaces to proposing exhibition projects to museum curators or gallery directors.
Prerequisite(s): Fourth-Year standing or permission of instructor.
Laboratory fee.
