HTA 359 - Audition Techniques: Theatre, Film and TV

This course is designed to equip students with the skills, techniques, and confidence required to audition successfully for theatre, film, and television. Students will explore industry standards, monologue and scene selection, self-taping, cold reading, and the nuances of auditioning for different mediums. Through practical exercises, mock auditions, and professional feedback, students will refine their approach and learn how to present themselves authentically and professionally in the audition room.
Prerequisite(s): HTA 231P and music theatre or actor training majors only.
