ES 401 - Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam Review

This Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination review course prepares senior engineering students to pass this comprehensive exam, which is the first step in obtaining a Professional Engineering (PE) license. Each class reviews the core principles and problem types for an individual topic led by faculty from that field. Exam-taking skills and strategies are emphasized, and exam practice problems are assigned. Course includes sessions focused on topics shared across discipline-specific versions of the FE Exam, as well as content specific to either the Civil Engineering or the Mechanical Engineering exam versions. Acoustical, Aerospace, and Biomedical Engineering majors are encouraged to take the Mechanical Engineering exam review version.
Prerequisite(s): Senior standing.
