ME 474W - Aerospace Capstone Design Project

3 credit(s) Writing Intensive and High Impact Practice: Capstone
This capstone design project course is built on the foundations of ME 464P - Aircraft Design and Analysis for senior Aerospace Engineering majors. Working in groups, the students will design, and in some cases build and fly, an aircraft or spacecraft system to complete a given mission. Students are required to demonstrate their mastery of oral and written communication skills by presenting their results to an audience of peers, faculty, and business/industry representatives, and by submitting a final written report. These final presentations and reports include sections on the social, political, economic, and cultural dimensions of the completed design projects.
Prerequisite(s): ME 464P.
