This course provides a comprehensive overview of Islamic civilization and culture, exploring its historical development, intellectual achievements, and socio-political structures. A special focus will be placed on the interactions between Muslims, Christians, and Jews under Islamic rule, highlighting their cultural, religious, and social contributions to the broader Islamic civilization. Students will gain an understanding of the coexistence, conflicts, and collaborations among these communities, as well as their shared cultural heritage. Through lectures, readings, and discussions, this course will examine the diversity and richness of Islamic civilization and its enduring legacy.
