MSPO 603 - Upper-Limb Orthotics

A review of the functional anatomy of the upper extremity, including the glenohumeral joint, is followed by an introduction to normal movement patterns and various pathologies of the upper extremity. In addition, a detailed discussion of prescription criteria and upper-extremity orthotic design is presented. May require travel.
Prerequisite(s): Prosthetics & orthotics major.
Laboratory fee.
