HLM 625 - Guitar Literature

Prerequisite(s): An in-depth look into the major works for vihuela, lute, and guitar from the Renaissance through the Baroque Periods. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between the construction of the instrument and its literature, the predominant musical forms, and performance practice (including notation). Only for graduate guitar performance majors.
