MSOT 612 - Fieldwork and Professional Practice Seminar


2 credit(s)
This course will emphasize the transition from occupational therapy academic setting to full-time fieldwork and eventual practice. Students will review the University of Hartford fieldwork policies and procedures, complete or update required training in clinical procedures (i.e. HIPAA, universal precautions, background checks), and discuss conceptual foundations of fieldwork education, problem solving strategies, and the student evaluation process.
Prerequisite(s): MSOT 603  and MSOT 609 .
