DPT 539 - Pathophysiology and Pharmacology in Physical Therapy II

This course builds upon foundational knowledge in understanding the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying human diseases and pharmacological management with a focus on their relevance to physical therapy practice. Students will delve deeper into the complex interactions between disease processes and pharmacological treatments. Students will explore the implications for physical therapy practice with emphasis placed on the influence of pharmacological interventions, critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based approaches to patient care.
Prerequisite(s): DPT 509 .
