This course surveys the world of business and builds a foundation for a career in business. Students are introduced to key business functions including management, marketing, finance, accounting, operations, supply chain and entrepreneurship, as well as topics covering business ethics and social responsibility, globalization, and technology in business. Through experiential learning activities, lectures, analysis, and case studies, students gain insight into how businesses operate and adapt to changing environments. May require travel.
