DFA 371 - Technology in Performing Arts

The purpose of this course is to provide practical experience for students to gain an understanding of technological applications used in the performing arts fields. This is achieved through acquired computer skills designed to enhance their educational experience, video/audio recording and editing, graphics, and web design skills. Students will use those same skills to enhance their knowledge of performing arts, arts education, arts advocacy, and technologies utilized in the performing arts profession. No prerequisites required but general computer fluency is expected.
