HTA 130P - Acting I


2 credit(s) High Impact Practice: Learning Community (with HTA 110P and HTA 120P)
This course explores basic acting fundamentals, emphasizing technique, craft, curiosity, and exploration. The class consists of a daily check-in, rehearsal, and performance of exercises to build a collective understanding of acting. Students will practice the basics of “objective,” “obstacle,” “tactics,” and “stakes” with various projects that allow them to deepen their own relationships for creative process and technique.
Prerequisite(s): Music theatre or actor training BFA’s only.
